Question for lowering gurus

I was thinking about lowering my truck but just to level it...I might be using my truck for some towing or cargo in the future....
anyways what should i use to lower it...shackles?
also would i need to buy new springs or shocks?
anyway heres a pic

its a 2007 f150 supercrew xlt

shackles to drop 2" but you will loose some payload/tongue weight. You can do normal stuff 4000> towing but it will sag faster. I wouldnt put more then 750ish in the bed.

im not sure what some of the aftermarket springs are rated at weight wise.

Shackles will be your best bet, but if you carry anything thats near the limit of your truck, you will sag.

I'd just drop it as much as you want and get some helper air bags. That's my plan anyway.
