I would suggest changing your tire size if you can.
285/45/22 or 285/40/22

The 284/45-22's work well for me. My truck is lowered 2/4 and I have no issues.

They look better (my opinion) and are closer to factory tire height...

i run 305/40/22 with a groundforce 2/4 and its fine. everyone loves the way that it looks. i think im going to try 305/45/22 when these tires wear out. the ride is not that harsh at all and the truck handles like a dream. i just think the 45 will fill the wheel well just a little bit better. but the way your going youll be very pleased. just make sure you do a quailty drop and dont try to cheaply piece one together.

Yeah I've got 305/40/22's on my rims which are 9.5" wide with a 2/5 drop. They're pretty much identical to the stock tire diameter so no reprogramming needs to be done and such. They give a nice look of a street tire but they're just meaty enough so that when I accidentally bump into a curb my rims don't get nicked.

would 285/45-22 have a better ride than 305/40-22? I think the 285's have a little more sidewall than the 305's

I've never had the 305/40-22s so I can't really compare. All I know is that the 285/45-22s ride pretty good.
