When do I need Camber bolts

I have a 07 with a 3.5/5 drop. It’s within spec but should I have camber bolts? Do they go on the lower control arm to lock the placement of the control arm?
Thanks in Advance for any help.

If your alignment is within specs you don't need them.

do you need them to bring it in to alignment??? that was my question to. i was told when i had mine aligned that i do not need them, but the shop also added that if i was to add them he would warranty the alignment for life of the truck, if i did not add them the shop would only warranty the alignment for 90 days. for the exta $120 ($60 per side) it was worth it for the peace of mind. the shop said that with the slotted holes on the 04+ the lowered trucks seem to go out of alignment more quickly, but if the kit is added the shop has not seen any come back...one year later on mine and still straight and true and no excessive tire wear.....$120 is about 1/2 of one tire, i think the money was well spent, but i guess there is no way to tell in my case.

Same here. An alignment should fix everything.
