custom box for sundown sd-10s

I have two sundown audio sd-10's powered by a sundown saz-1200d. They are in a prefab sealed box. Was wondering if anyone is running them in a custom ported box? Hoping to build a box for them, just looking for ideas.

I know you posted this a while back. I've been investigating building a customer ported box for my '14 SCREW for my 2 SD-2 8s. I think I have the proper dimensions, etc.. Toying with front mounting the 8s, but we shall see. More as it develops...

I'd love to see what you have planned and how it works out TexZen. I'm contemplating a front mount set of 8's or a single 10 right now and trying to get as much info as possible before I decide. I'll be running a JL JX1000D so I have plenty of power for either choice, I just haven't seen anything I'm completely thrilled with yet.
A front firing pair of 8's sounds like the ticket for me, I just don't know if I'm willing to commit the entire under side of the rear seat to an enclosure. I kind of like the storage box that I have under the driver side rear seat right now.

I'm working on keeping access (more or less) to the storage bin. Still in the works. Seems like we'll be running similar power levels. Have a Zapco DC REF 1100.1. More if I ever get off of my backside and get this project rolling...
