2011 Platinum Audio Upgrades Part 2

Well I recently purchased this truck and it already has some audio upgrades but apparently they took the subs and amp out... I also have the passenger front door speakers not working and it is driving me crazy, Not sure yet But I think that it is the Xover that may of went bad because the amp is good. Looks like they put the Kicker KS 6.5" components in not sure what series and have them hooked up to a Kicker 360.4 Amp. They did put soem dynamat around the speakers but did not do the whole doors. I am wanting to put some subs in.. Just not sure I want to spend 1500-1700 for 2 12" JL TW1 and amp, custom box and tune that my local dealer quoted me. however I do want a good quality sub. It is all HIGHS now and I am not sure how much longer I can take it!! It is also hooked up to a Clarion EQS746 to control it all. What do ya'll think?

For sundowns the box will need to be custom made. No point in cheaping out with a prefab for quality subs.

As for ported versus sealed, that's all personal opinion. I prefer sealed as it leads to a flatter response, but some people prefer ported for that extra low end.

For amps sundown, crescendo, audioque, mmats, shok, incriminator audio, kicker, jl, rockford fosgate, and more all make good amps that will pair nicely with those subs.

Well I was thinking about getting the Fox acoustics box as the space needed for the subs are pretty dang close to their specs.

The passenger door speaker issue could be as simple as connection came loose. For subs, the kicker comp r 12's work great sealed with a punch p1000x1bd.

I figured out my problem..An RCA wasn't plugged in all the way..

I am debating on whether or not to go with the Probox single 12" setup or Buying the Fox Acoustics box with a pair of sundown Audio sd-10...
