kinda impressed by factory speakers...

i have the factory 6x8's front and rear and the only power they are gettin are off my pioneer p4200-UB which isn't puttin out more than like 22 watts at most RMS. might even be like 14. but they keep right up with my rockford fosgate power t2 12" sub in a 31.5" x 15.5" ported box sittin on the back seat powered by a MMATS 1100.1 Amp 750 Rms 1100 Peak. Some rap songs the bass is just too heavy and they distort mildly, but hey they are from 2001 lol. Rock on the other hand (was blastin some 2112 on like 45 out of 62 and man it sounded amazing. no distortion or anything and all clear crisp notes i couldn't believe it.) i did mess around with the equalization so i'm sure that's very important but the speakers still did surprise me how good they still sound. I'll be upgradin to Rockford Prime 6x8's soon though (probably just the fronts, nobody sits in the back but the subwoofer :P)
- Just thought i'd share this bit of info, well have a great day!
