09-pre-fab sub enclosure

anyone tryed this box?

Click the image to open in full size.

found it online for 89.95 + 15.99 shipping....looks like it has good connectors but dont say if its 3/4'' MDF or not....also specs. say .8 per sub...my subs only need around .6 cf ....is it better to be alittle bigger than smaller?? my boxes now are .4 each...they sound ok but i think they could do more with alittle more room...i have 2 Rockford p3sd410's ...could this box be ported?..they have a 12'' version also that looks like its the same size as the 10'' box...if anyone has tryed it id like to hear what you think about the fit and how it sounds...

Most likely 1/2" MDF. It can't be ported, you have to design a box specifically for that and tune it accordingly and it would require a lot more space than that box gives, unless you wanna go external port of course, but by that point your better off building your own. Being on the bigger side is only really good if your running lower power than the actually rms of the sub, but after sub displacement, it should bring you down to about .73-.75ish cf per sub which really won't make an audible or noticeable difference.

thanks for the reply...i built the ones i have now but they are seperate and only measure .4cf ..i have tried to make one that held both subs but it didnt sound as good as my small ones..my brother has a pro box with 2 mtx 10'' subs in his chevy that i put in my truck and it blows mine away..it sounds louder and "deeper"..its made of hard plastic with like rino liner on it or something...we tried to make one like it from 3/4 mdf that fit under my seat but it didnt sound near as good as his or even the ones i have now so i scraped it..i did find the pro box made for 09-up f150 but its a single 10'' or 2- 8''s ...they are pricey tho...
