Skip the jl 13, overpriced and not that great of a sub.. Since your young go with the 12's it'll be louder than the 8's, might not be as clean but I'm assuming you want the more 'hey look at me' while still being somewhat musical. Are you trying to fit this setup under your seat?

I have to respectfully disagree the jl stealth box with the 13w5 is nothing less than amazing. It is a lil expensive but you get what you pay for. The 13w5guys is one of the most innovative sub I have seen in the past several years. I sell the jl and the probox. I sell both and there is no comparison between the stealth is by fat superior in everyway. That woofer is only two inches in depth it is thin line woofer technology is the first of its kind it has a concentric tube structure that allows a oversized voice coil and suspension. So it gets a larger motor structure . In short its bad a#$. There is nothing wrong with others but I would lean away from Memphis in my opinion its middle of road type stuff not bad euipment but in comparison to jl it not even close. On probox I just see alot of warranty issues the 8s. Just don't handle alot of abuse. If I wasn't wanting to pay for stealth I would recommend going to a local shop that knows what the are doing and choose a woofer or woofers of your choosing and let them assemble you a enclosure. I just did a 08 last week that wanted a lil more than his current 8s so I built him a box for 2drivers kick cvt 10s for the amount he spent he was extremely happy and so was I. And after 17ish years of car audio I am not easily impressed or excited lol. But again I would go listen to all different options and make your decision based on your wants and budget. Just don't settle is my only recommendation if it takes you a lil longer to get what you want you will be alot happier at end. Sorry for long answer just trying to help.

Oh Yeh yours should be a 10w3 ported not a 13w5. Unless someone built it. But I run that 10w3I in my 07opinion screw and it built for sound quality but anytime I shoe it it pretty much sells itself.

do what I did and rip out your rear seat and slam in 4x 10w7's

my honest opinion is get 2x 10w3's and a 500/1 but i would stay away from 13's as opposed to 2x 10's or even 2x12's if you are really feeling adventurous

I'm assuming you want the shallows for an under-seat box, but having a smaller box in the back isn't as bad as you might think it is, unless you are driving a busload of people all over the place... flipping up the passenger back seat gives you more then enough room for a half decent system to be installed and secured properly.. I'm partial to JL's as you may have guessed, but there are a lot of quality setups out there, check out DIYMA (do it yourself mobile audio) forums, and welcome.

I run the 10w3 ported stealth. Trust me when I tell you it is amazing amount of bass for 1 10. I amaze customers when I show them my woofer. They always say that 1 10 wont be enough for them then they hear it and instantly change their minds. I will say that the enclosure being having a tubular port, almost like a transmission design I feel it is actually one of the best sounding stealth boxes they make. I have several friends and customers that have both and most of them say the same thing that it is just as loud as the 13 box or real close. The prob is that our trucks dont have the depth to fit the 13 so in short go with the 10 you wont be unhappy. Let me know if I can be of more help I am one of the head tech and managers for Kens car Tunes in pensacola fl. you can go to our site if you like and see some of things I have built and maybe you will see something you like. Feel free to give me a mess. when your ready and maybe I can get you a break on it for you, might be able to contact your local dealer and ask a favor of something.
