Front door speaker wiring problem!!!!!

I have a 2005 F 150 FX4. I have just purchased 4 new 6X8 for the front and back. I will be wiring them to my amp under my back seat. Today I tried to run the wire out the door with the old speaker wires and found a plug with no extra room. What gives? How can I go about passing wires through this solid plug? The back doors left some space under the plug, but the front has no gaps. Any solutions?

Thanks

You will need to search about the molex in teh audio forums. There are a few posts about where to drill through.

What I did was pull out the gaskets from both the door and body that allow the wires to pass. I don't think it's blocked as much as it is just reall tight getting through the gaskets. Once they're out, feed the speaker wire by hand through the tubing and then into the door or body (whichever way you go, I went from body to door), and then pop the gaskets back into place.

I ran some 10ga wire into the door, so I know it's possible.

Kuruption - I doubt you have the molex then. Because its a huge plug BLOCKING everything.
