RE Audio Subs

What RE 12" subs are really good with a mount depth of less than 6.5" or should i just wait to get the 12" BMs or the 12" JL Audio shallows?

What about the SE series, the SR series and the RE series, are they good? I looked the specs and they are around the mount depth i need. I want them to get loud and have good SQ doesnt have to be great SQ.

You could look at these:

http://www.artofnoiseaudio.com/speakers_apsubE12_4.php

those will sound better then a RE Audio SE and probably get louder too. The mounting depth on those is 6.21 i think i read..

So you want to 12's or 10's? And what is the Airspace of the box along with mounting depth? And how much power do you have to work with?

I want 12"s but if i can find 10"s with really good output ill get them. the website says that the box has 1.2 cu. ft. of air but it really doesnt seem right to me, and mount depth is 6.5" but i can put a spacer for more depth but i really dont want. Im gonna the kicker zx1000.1 amp for the subs.

Heres the link to the box: http://musicmooseaudio.com/ford_f_150e2.html

Well i really depend on how crazy you want to get... Where in so cal are you?

Is it that you really want 12's?

I don't think those subs will even work in that box. the foam surround may stick out to far and hit the floor..

Another alternative is throwing in a seat lift. http://lmiwelding.com/kits_supercab.htm

With 6.5" of mounting depth, you have plenty of options. You could fit a pair of IDQ v.3 12s or a pair of SI Mag 12s, both of which would be AMAZING.

Im about an hour and half east of palm springs. I really dont care if i get 12's or 10's as long as it gets loud with good SQ. I Have 2 10" p3 shallows right now in a 1.2 cu ft box, so i want it to be louder and sound better then what i have right now.
