12" in center console of '01 Screw

Im sure people have done this, but I didnt see the posting, so here it is.

So, I had the sub and amp and I was determined to install them in my truck without sacrificing any seating or functionality (needed to be able to put rear seats up and down). Well theres all sorts of spaces to put things in a Screw, but none were working out quite right.

So I pulled the center console and was going to build a custom center console. But then i stared to mess with the existing one. After many mock ups and gutting the center console and remaking a tray for it...I have a down firing 12" Infinity Perfect mounted in my center console and I have about 4"-5" inches of depth in the storage area of my console.

It sounds great and even throughout the cab and not a single rattle...I did put dynomat under the carpet which im sure helps . Plus, no one has any idea that its there, which is the best part.

Pic shows the storage left in the console (have a cardboard tray in there now cause im working on the other one, but this works fine for now)

Under the tray, top of the box

and the the box with the console out...not the prettiest finish on the box, but you cant see it so it doesnt matter.

Do you have any more shots of the box? Or dimensions/plans?

Im torn between putting the sub in my center console like you, or doing what pat did and to captains chairs in the back with a custom console/box in the rear...

Ill post some more shots in a bit. Ill also put together the dimesions as well. I didnt document the build at the time cause my frustration was through the roof.

If you dont mind switching the rear captains, thats a super kool way to go. That would be pretty kool to do with two matching center consoles with a sub in each.
