Almani?

I live in houston texas and a new stereo shop has just opened up and they have a brand called Almani. I have never heard of that brand and I cant seem to find much about them on the internet. Have yall heard of them and what do you think about its quality? He had them hooked up in his show room and they sounded great but he wanted to charge my buddy close to $600 for 2 12s, ported box, and a 1500 watt almani amp. Is that reasonable or not? Thanks for any help.

You couldnt GIVE ME 600 bucks to run a pair of Almanis with one of their amps, let alone pay 600 bucks for that ish.

that is what i was thinking. Did you find their home page? I couldnt find much on them. But i figured that it was a knock off brand. He swore by them though. he said they are from california and great quality. but all these sales people are fast talkers...thats why i wanted to do some research first. Thanks for yalls help

yea, and even if they are legit, thast still really cheap for that whole setup. a dual 12 box alone from a good stereo would usually be like 200 bucks
so 2 12's and an amp for 400?.........

I would buy Power Acoustik stuff before touching Almani. Maybe even Boss.

Almani is pawn shop stuff.

Most any sub can play really loud in the right box. But were they in the type of box you will need in your vehicle?? Most likely not.

I heard some Volfenhags the other day that sounded decent. But I would never own any of it.

yea thats true. this was a big ported box...that would never go in my truck. but i was amazed. it shook his whole shop...but like i said, i have never heard a name brand either. but is 600 a decent price for those? i would think an off brand would be way cheaper. i bought 2 12" kenwoods with box and kenwood amp for 300. those were like 200 watt RMS each so they werent anything amazing but they sounded great.

just don't buy em.
if you want to go with something that's not mainstream, look into Ficaraudio, Incriminator, Digital Designs, Elemental Designs.....there's plenty of great stuff out there that alot of people don't know about

because the are gonna have to go under the back seat of my extended cab. i am thinking about doing a seat lift but i still doubt i would be able to get regular subs back there and especially wont be able to get a good sized box for them under there. so i think if i go with shallows i will be able to get a big enough box for them if i do a seat lift.
