hey guys, i have a 4 channel amp pushing my four mid range speakers in my screw. if i splice a pair of tweeters (with built in Xover) into the front speakers, will it hurt the performance of those speakers?

Im betting that 'built in crossover' is a capacitor. Eitherway, if you have your mids playing full range, then at frequencies that both the mid and tweet will be playing its going to drop the impedence. If the mid and tweet are both 4 ohm, your source unit or amp is going to see a 2 ohm load when they are both playing the same freq.

And in that case you better hope your HU or amp can handle that low of a load...
