Q-Logic Boxes?
Has anyone used this box before? I recently installed the musicmoose version and the sub hits the floor and sounds really bad. If I space it up, it cant lower the seat. I'm thinking about buying this box next; any one have any experience?
Q-Logic Box
If not, can anyone offer any suggestions besides building my own. I dont want to build it, I just want to buy one that fits. I'm running the JL 10W1v2.
Thanks!

I know you don't want to hear it, but seriously look into building your own. You have already spend (at a guess) $100 on the Musicmoose box, the Qlogic box is $150 plus shipping........... I bought materials last week to build a box for my truck, it cost me roughly $50 (although a relative is building it for me).
If you really really don't want to build it yourself then try and find someone in your area to build it for you, take a look on www.caraudio.com there are a bunch of guys there who build boxes.
If you decide to go with the Qlogic then as far as I know they are pretty decent (I looked into one for my truck, but could not bring myself to spend the $150+ without even trying to build).

I used the Q logic when I first got my truck. I actually got the musicmoose first and had the same problem you did and switched to the Q logic. It is a good little box. I little pricey for a single 10" box but, it fits perfect and blends well. For that sub, I think it would be a good choice.

For those of you making your own boxes, are you going ported or sealed? Is there much advantage to a ported down fire as opposed to a sealed enclosure? Maybe I will have something built....

The one that will go in my truck is sealed, I wanted something more for SQ and read that sealed boxes are better for this. If you go for a ported box it can get louder than a sealed box on the same power, but you will need a bigger box (another reason why I went sealed).
Just as an indicator I asked on caraudio.com for some prices to get a box built and the average was about $75.

What did musicmoose say about the sub hitting the floor. Sounds like their box isn't designed properly or something. Are all people using their boxes having this problem. I was thinking about ordering one of their boxes.

Well there not answering the phone today, I've been calling since 9am. I would not order their box if I was you, you will not be satisfied.

Well.....
Its not the greatest box by far, but if you want a sleek look with fair sound, this is for you. I used a punch HX2 and a JBL GTO, both had fair results. Put the same speakers in another box, I was good to go

I'm running this box right now and I love it. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm moving up to a 12" sub I'd leave it in my truck. It'll sit in my attic till I need it again cause it is a really good box.

Sealed, downfiring, and I can give you the rough dimensions...
Or you could just "modify" the outer measurements of your moose box and don't forget to use 3/4" MDF... and take the box material into account on the measurements.
Use some good liquid nails on the edges, and then seal it again, after that cures, with at least some silicone...
Use screws, but drill pilot holes first so it doesn't split...
I have a ton of tips on the whole thing in my gallery... link is in the signature.

I just got my Q-logic box and it looks freakin awesome! It looks like it came from the Ford factory and fits nice and tight! I dropped an Infinity perfect 10 in it, it has been listed as the largest sub that will fit in that box. Sorry but I have not installed it yet but first impression is top notch.
