Jacking up the rear seat - 2000 F150 Supercab
Has anyone ever jacked up the rear bench seats in a 2000 model F150 supercab? I could use some extra clearance for my box and was thinking of jacking the seat up 1-1/2" to 2" with shims or washers. It looks simple enough but I am concerned about the back rest interferring somehow. Can the backrest be moved to?
Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks!
Mike

buy a custom box for your truck, and they supply a 2 inch lift, just make sure the subs you own will fit the mounting depth
or
lmi welding
search the sites see whats up, I havent scoped out lmi welding to much so you may want to check if they have it specifically for your year etc
good luck, happy listening

Probox makes a perfect fit box that comes with all hardware for raising the rear bench seat for F150's. I have one in my 98 with two Fosgate 10" Punch P2's down firing. They sound awsome.
The box looks extremely good and is virtually un-noticeable. By raising the rear seat it makes the ride for someone sitting in the back more comfortable. Here is their website...

Check them out, it's worth it...
