I'm going with 8's. I like dupius's setup maybe a modification or two for my personal satisfaction. My question is do you use a crossover for your door speakers. The stock HU seems to be heavy on the bass end.

PAC makes inline crossovers for filtering bass on door speakers. They are cheap and install on the positve wire. Its the same as the crossover on component speakers. You can get them at Best Buy.

Almost the same. Sorta.

Get like a 70ish Hz high pass crossover and stick it on your door speaks. Then set the low pass filter on your subs at like 80. Then your speaks wont get as many low frequencied. And since your subs will be playing them, its not a big deal cutting those frequencies out really.

Or you could turn down that little **** labeled "BASS"
