Question Stuff the box? Dual 10" SupercrewSound subbox

Please forgive the newbie question. I have a supercrew sound box with dual 10" cutouts to go under rear seat in my supercrew. I have 2 JL 10w3v2's to put in it. Should I put any sound stuffing in it or just mount the subs in there and go?
Thanks in advance!

I would check the JL site or your JL owners manual. They will know what will make it sound best. I didn't stuff my kickers, and I think I am going to go back and do it eventually. They sound good, but I am thinking that i am leaving something behind without the stuffing.

Stuffing the box with a (insulation type) material will give the box a characteristic of itself + up to 10% volume(cubic liters/feet) increase. It's up to you wether you want the sound of a larger box...

I learned that putting polyfill or simular product in your box only makes the sound better if its a sealed enclosure. If its ported or you plan on porting it, dont do the stuffing.

i bought the musicmoose box which is the same i used 8 oz. of polyfill for each chamber. before the subs would rattle from the lack of air space now they sound like there in a huge box, i have RF series 1 subs, highly recommend poly fill in all small sealed boxes

p.s. dont waste your money buying poly fill from a stereo store go to wal-mart and get it its 2.50 for 20 oz.

Thanks for all the replies. It will be a sealed box so I will throw a little poly in there.
