4 RE8s in a Single Cab (Pics)

I finished up my box last weekend and I think it turned out pretty good. Outer dimensions are 16" H x 56" W x 4" TopDepth x 8" BottomDepth. Its 1.54 ft^3 tuned to 28hz.

Here are some pics:

It gets really low and plays pretty loud. SQ is better than my previous box with 2 RE8s...

Let me know what ya think!

Looks awsome. Forgive me my ignorance, but what is with the channel in the back corner? Some Kind of port or something?

Box looks great. I just finished carpeting mine. I will post pics when I get a chance.

Yeah its a port... its 3.5" x 4" x 27.75" and it tunes the box to ~28hz.

I really don't like the grills, but I had to use them... nicer ones stick out too far and I would have to sacrifice more leg room to accomodate them.

Melovidov....

I would be interested to know how 4 re8s compare to say like two 10s or two 12s, or even one 12, like the options in my other thread you replied to.

any help is appreciated
