Talking Finally found the perfect sub! (JL13W6V2)

I have gone through 5 different subwoofer setups in my F150. All being pairs of 10s firing in numerous directions driven by my JL 500/1. I could never get the subs to blend seamlessly with my 5x7JLXRs and the bass was always very boomy or muddy.
So I decided to go with a single 12. I auditioned a 12w6v2 sealed and right away my mid bass jumped out at me and the overall sound of the system was finally balanced. Thats it... I thought get one of these and Im done! Then I looked at the JL websight to do some planning and saw the 13w6v2. I wonder if this sub would perform as well (hopefully better)than the 12.
I ended up buying the 13W6V2 and installed it in a 1.8cf sealed box. I sacraficed the small passenger seat behind the driver seat. And ran it off my 500/1.
The sound quality is perfect! This sub plays to my 100hz cutoff flawlessly! The bass is transparent and staged where it should be UPFRONT! I no longer have the phase issues like I did with the 10s causing the sound to be boomy and muddy! Man this sub also gets LOUD! This 13 matches an average pair of 12s in output. And the best thing is it performs better than expected on only 500 watts!
So for anybody wondering if the 13w6v2 sounded as good as the 12w6v2 IT DOES! It just keeps on putting out where the 12 leaves off. I am very satisfied with my purchase and feel it is worth every penny of the 450$ I spent!

Did you expect a $450 subwoofer to not be good?

*sigh* help with a simple 10" sub & amplfier set up

*sigh* just trying to find out how to hook up a 10" sub & amplifier. I have a 1993 F150 Flareside Extra cab (not super cab) and I've upgraded to a nice panasonic stereo, 2 way pioneer 6x8's in back and sony 6 1/2's in front. None of these have significant bass so I want to add a 10" woofer with rampage amplifier (i know, cheap amplifier, but not looking for anything hella loud) I already have a 10" pioneer subwoofer. I cant find any info on how to hook this up.
