Forgive my ignorance, what is it? What does it do? Just bought my 16 year old a 2001 F150 and he wants to mack it out with stereo gear.....something to do with that?

I've been considering a similar setup. What kind of power does that amp put out? Why did you choose the Punch sub?

Choose the punch because it fit good and puts out 400w of thump... The jl amp is a 500w mono sub amp, but its not turned all the way up...Thus not overpowering the sub...
