Nothing from Speakers

I was having a issue with my 2 8" subs. Going down the road, I heard some static then my subs went out. While trying to fix them, I accidently touched the bare speaker wires that go into the sub box to the metal support of my rear seat. Now none of my speakers will work.

Any ideas?

Every once in a while it sounds like the cd player output is trying to come through the subs. I am at a complete loss of thoughts. I have power to my amp and no fuses are blown.

EDIT: I have fixed my subs, broken negative lead in the box. Now everything coming out of my Head unit is going throught the subs and none of the factory speakers. Could I have smoked all four speakers when I touched the metal support with the speaker wires?

Thanks,

EL

Doubt you smoked your speakers from that. If anything, you probably would have gotten the sub amp. Check your RCA's and speaker wires, as well as the connections on the back of your deck. Then check your fader.
