memphis audio

I have recently put some 5x7 memphis audio speakers in my truck to replace the factory speakers. I also put some dynomat extreme behind the speakers. They sound pretty good, but I wonder about the long term durability of these speakers. Anyone have an opinion on memphis audio speakers? How'd you like em and how'd they hold up? Any comments appreciated.

Memphis speakers are about average, their subs are crappy, and their amps are pretty nice. Over the years i havent seen too many speakers torn up, but it ultimatly depends on how well they were installed and how hard they were played.

They hold up quite well. As for performance they are average as stated.

I disagree on the crappy subwoofer comment. Their subwoofers are above par for performance. The price is a bit high as Memphis is quite protective of dealer pricing. Other than that and the LVS being a joke...pretty decent.
