Infinity Basslink

Has anyone tried the Basslink in an 04 S'crew?
http://<br /> http://www.infinitysy...er=BSL&Cat=PSU

Looks like a pretty nice sub, I like the integraded amp. I'm sure it won't rattle windows a block away but that's not what I'm looking for - just some solid bass.

I also like the MTX Thunderform (with integraded amp), but I don't think they have one for the '04 yet.

I'm considering installing the Infinity Kappa 5-1/4 components up front and the 5x7/6x8 Kappas in rear doors pushed by an old, leftover Alpine MRP-F320 40x4 amp.

Any thoughts on the above subs would be greatly appreciated.

None of the Basslink sub systems will fit under the rear seat of an 04. The regular basslink and basslink x is 8'' and to thick and the new basslink T is 6 7/16 thick and would fit under the seat, but it's 40 3/8'' long and will not fit due to the hump.
Couple of threads here that talk about the Thunderform. Check out those.
I like the Kappa set up. Same one I have.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, I was afraid the Basslink may be too tall.

I like your system, did you roll your own adaptor plates for the 6-1/2" mids in the front or are they store-bought? Either way, looks good.

Got any dimensions for that sub-box?

Thanks.
