stock audiophile sub and amp
Is anybody wanting to sell their audiophile sub and amp? Also, I recently installed the audiophile headunit, and since then have noticed that the door speakers are filtered now and receive no bass. This is why I'm looking for the stock stuff; to get the bass back. My question though, is that if I can't find the stock stuff, I am looking to buy the box from supercrewsound as well as an amp and sub. But if the rear door speakers are filtered, where could I tap into with the line converters in order to get a good signal for the sub? TIA

Hi, I just bought a new F150 without the audiophile sound system. I can tell a huge difference between my truck and my 2004 mustang Mach 1000, and am interested in upgrading already
Where did you get your audiophile head unit? Do you remember the part number? incase I run across one for myself. Thanks

audiophile head unit
Hey, I got my audiophile headunit from ebay. If you do replace yours, just know that the audiophile headunit filters out the bass going to the door speakers. So, be prepared to go all the way or you'll be in the same boat as I am. I researching aftermarket subs and amps right now but would rather stay stock for right now.

I have seen about six or seven head units on eBay. How do I tell the difference between an audiophile unit, with RDS and the regular six disk version?
Even if you could find a factory subwoofer, would you be able to use the factory wiring harness? I have not been able to locate it under the rear seats.

Thanks. Of six or so head units I have seen on eBay none of the appear to be the audiophile units.
Have you considered using a aftermarket powered subwoofer like Infinity's Basslink? At 14x12x8, I think it might fit.
Personally, I don't mind installing aftermarket component speakers, but dont want to run power wire, install amps, and an aftermarket head unit in my new truck. Which is why I am really interested in using the factory wiring harness.
I think I will call the dealer tomorrow and ask if it is possible that the audiophile system can be a dealer installed option.

Not a problem. That is exactly what I was looking for anyways. I sent you an email to work out the cost and shipping details. Thanks. I wanted to replace the factory sub with a Rockford Fosgate
