I have the six disc cd player but it is not the audiophile system and I was looking to get new speakers. I was wondering how much I need to spend for a marked improvement over the factory speakers. Any suggestions?

 

Not much at all. Just about any brand name after market speaker will give you an improvement. Now, given that the factory amp is so small, you don't need speakers that handle much, but if you are looking to add an amp later, than go with something nicer. You can get good deals on E-bay and other places on line.
