2003 F-150 Speaker Sizes

So, I've got the 2003 F-150 Supercab XLT (with the In-Dash 6-disc changer). I want to put new speakers in, and I've heard that 6x8's are the right sizes for the front AND back...and then I've also heard thats not accurate... Does anyone know the true size? Also, I was thinkin about puttin two 6x9's under the front seats...anyone done it? What's it sound like? Will I need to get a new deck if I want to get louder speakers? Thanks...

sites...

www.lowrider.com - good site for finding out what sizes your speakers are in almost every car...

www.teptronics.com - good site for cheap audio (if you don't want to pay for a name)...I have all Rockwood gear in my Camaro....loud as hell..

I got....

Deck, 4 6x9's, 1200/w amp, 1200/w sub, and the boxes for about $450...possibility of the 'maro becoming a Rockwood Audio endorsed car...which would be tight as h3!!

6X9's WILL NOT fit unless you trim your door. And speakers under the seat aren't gonna be that great for quality. Especially if you cramp those 6X9's in those prefab'd boxes, way too small - bass is minimal compared to mounting in a rear deck/large door etc.
