Question Custom fit boxes for 04 SC?

Has anyone used either of the following subwoofer cabinets in their 04 supercab?

Q-Logic:

Sound Off:

Just wondering if anyone had comments as to how well they fit, room left for amps, etc.

Thanks!

JL Audio Subwoofer

I put a JL Audio 8 in. Poly Subwoofer under the back passenger seat with no problem. It faces up. I had the box custom built. You will have room for one amp under the front passenger seat and room for a second amp on the back floor under the seats in the center.

I got a 2004 Screw

I've used the Music Moose box which is extremly similar to the sound off box your looking at. The biggest problem I see with those enclosures is the selection of subs that will fit. If your stuck on doing something like that, i'd suggest looking to fit 8's in there. There are just no 10's that will sound there best in a box that shallow that I would suggest. The quality of the box I had was mediocre. The entire face was barely sealed. They do fit nice though and the black I ordered matched my interior just fine. This box in particular leaves no room for amps of any kind under the back seat. You do have quite a bit of room for amps behind the back seat and under the pass seat. Drivers seat too if it's not power.

Re: sub box pics

Looks good, but it looks like there is not enough room for the sub to play. I can see the rings of the sub on the bottom of the seat. Just saying that with the seat down it looks like it would hit it. You should have a least 1'' between the sub and the seat. You may be losing a lot of out put by the seat defusing it. You could put a peice of 1'' wood strip on each side of the woofer to make sure it never hits or after adding the strips just turn the box over. Anyway, looks good and hope you enjoy!
