x2. its been scaled back the last few years with the economy the way it is too, but its a yearly tradition for me and my friend to go camping and get away from all the college life BS.

Who else is in Lakeland? I would love to get together for a group photo or something if possible

This is the route I'm taking. Stop "B" is my parents house, thats where the camper is. 4-1/2 hr ride, ~300 miles, ~$50 in fuel.

The last 30 minutes of driving we take a shortcut instead of going I-75/I-4. Much slower and relaxed driving plus theres a gas station we stop at every year and get the same thing: hot chocolate and donuts to commemorate our drive

I live right outside of lakeland. one day this weekend im driving from lakeland to highsprings to pick up a horse for a lady, then heading to okeechobee with the horse, dropping it off and coming home. we are looking at over 400 miles, 8 hours, 100 dollars in gas, 300 dollar pay check. Cant wait.

parents live in live oak raptor? thats a nice place. we had a mx race there once. actually it was the best track in florida for a while until the knocked it down. gotta love it.

Yeah, except the place is so boring we call it Dead Oak. The 500-year old Baptist bible thumpers from the civil war need to get off the county commissioners seat so they can get rid of the dry-county ruling, its hurting the economy there

Where was the MX track at?

Well, I'm back. 750 miles, about 600 were driven by me. What a weekend. Lakeland is dead for the younger age groups, all I saw were old people but pics going up in the GD later of my trip!

Yea as far as clubs and what not you have to go to tampa or orlando. but in order to have a good time, have to hit up a local party or 2, or ten.
