Gear shops near Nashville

Getting new gears and need to know of any places to avoid near my town. Any of you had any really bad experiences with truck work around Nashville? How about any really good places? I have a bud that owns a shop, but you know they always say never do business with friends or family......Thanks for your help.

I just had mine done last week by FastLane Auto in Goodlettsville. The guys name is Dan. He did my rear for $450 including the Ford Racing Gear. Mine was a 8.8 rear end though. He did a great job and I was happy with it. I have no whine and the gears seem to work great. He has a small garage and I got to hang out with him while he worked. He was very detailed and knew what he was doing.

Thanks for the replies. Goodletsville may be a good place to check out.

Yeah, his pricing is just awesome. $450 for my rear axle is about $200 less than most charge.
