Post Shocks for Lowered L

I know alot of you run the stock shocks, but, I've heard they will wear out quickly and are not ideal. Are there any shocks made for a lowered 150? Any other comments or infor would be appreciated.

I'm sure you're right. The ride was great when the lowering was first done but it has changed. I think it's time for new shocks...

I just ordered BellTech NitroActives. Should have them on next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

I had KYB shocks installed when I got mine lowered (2.5"/3.5"). I feel that the ride has substantially improved (more smooth, less bumpy), so I'm happy with those for now. I don't have part numbers that were used, but I can get them once I get home.

NeedFourSpeed, I lowered my L. with the
Bel Tech 3/4 and Western Chassis 2 inch A-arms. I went with Edelbrock Front Shocks and Doesch Tech Rear shocks. I got the rear shocks and A-arms from Sport Truck Direct
800-876-6226 ask for Steve. I have just a little stiffer ride from stock and shock combination really seems to be working out great! If you need more info or part numbers let me know. DJY

DJY - I would be interested in the part no.'s
do the western chassis A-arms lower the front and if so what do you get with that and the 3/4?

I plan on some track days and auto-x events and would like to hear your comments on handling when the truck is pushed.

NeedFourSpeed:
This is what you get in the BellTech 3/4 kit. I also ordered the BellTech nitro-active shocks, and i like them so far.

NeedFourSpeed,
hdmlnium covered the Bell Tech kit 3/4 parts. Great pictures!
Iwent with Edelbrock because they had good reviews and were expensive I installed them all around but the back still had a hard bounce while driving so then I went with the Doetsch Tech I installed them all away around then the front started getting more stiff. So I ended up with Edelbrock front shocks and Doetsch Tech rear shocks. This combination I have a great ride smooth and my L. handles awesome.
At first I only had the Bell Tech kit on my L. installed the truck looked like the back was way lower than the front like I had a load in my L. The way the Bell tech is the rear sits lower than the front. So that is why I went with the 2 inch drop Western Chassis A-arms. The A-arms brought down my L. another 1 1/2 so I have the slammed look what I was looking for. Ialways have to use caution appoaching speed bumps, driveways to avoid scraping my front bumper cover. Most important is to buy a camber kit and have your truck aligned when finish. Just the other week had to have another wheel alignment the Bell tech coils in the front settled the front didnot look right so I took to the alignment shop that first did my alignment the alignment specialists said it is normal for coils to settle.
This is the part # Numbers:

Doetsch Tech Rear Shocks: #4180G

Western Chassis Super 2 inch A-arms #2319

Edelbrock front shocks #33987
