Front end alignment specs
Off to get my front end aligned tomorrow since I installed the lowering springs this last weekend. I have driven the thing only 3-4 miles, but I know I need to get it aligned ASAP as its sitting with a lot of negative camber right now from the looks of it.
Anyway, I'm not that familiar with alignment specs for a truck suspension. The place where I'm getting it done has the factory specs, and a laser alignment rack, so that's good. However, I was wondering if there's one side of the spec "range" I should be on for best tire wear.
Any of you who've had an alignment done and have your spec sheets could you please respond?
Thanks,

If you are going to the Ford Dealer for the alignment, it would be interesting to see if they will tell you that you need a four wheel alignment because of the rear wheel thrust angle adjustment. SILVERBULLET says this is a waste of money. I think my Dealer was charging $70-$80 bucks for this alignment. There is more on this in the topic, "SVT READ THIS".
The pawn,
Thanks man for the detailed info!
Dreamin',
I agree neg. camber is good...but not so much that its overly noticeable.
My tires wear fast enough as it is. But, yes I understand that in a strictly road-race environment, you'd want more than on a typical street driven vehicle.
Just eye-balling it, I'd say I'm close to -2.0^ camber right now...maybe a little more.
