Talking RADAR DETECTOR INSTALLED!

Hey Everyone! FYI on anyone who has thought about hardwiring your radar detector. I ended up taking the overhead console off, which took about 30 seconds, and tapping into the white hotwire leading into the plug for the compass! THe whole process took about 10 minutes. I screwed in a self-tapping screw into the metal above for the ground, and that was it! Then, I drilled a half-hole in the front of the console cover for the wire to slip through that plugs into the detector. That way, when not in use, I just slide the wire back into the console out of view!!!!! CUSTOM INSTALL! I know this may sound weird, but I spent months thinking up how to get this done. Email me with questions. I'll get pictures soon.
