Take a look at Precision Industries. They make a real nice torque converter and they also sell the TransGo shift kit too. I gave my Precision to another Lightning owner. He used it to replace his Level 10. I have seen his results, Lets wait until after this weekend and see.

Peter, I have converter purchased from Level 10, Manufactured by Precision Ind. Get the shift kit, but need better tires than we can get now to take advantage of torque converter
(in my opinion). I am trying to get BA's 15" wheels, then, maybe 2 tenths from converter.
Maybe High Risk has opinion after his 28" slicks?

Talk with "High Risk" he has my (well it was mine for a little bit) Precision Industries converter (2600 stall) and as you know the 28 inch tall Goodyears. Ask him what he saw with the changes. I know for a fact that his trap speed when up and his RPM's came down. I took photos of his launches three times on Wednesday night and each one looked great.

BA, Looks like the only alternative I've found to your adaptors is a Circuit D Goodyear at 462.00 ea plus tax... etc. Probably, your adaptor should be a package with the converter.
Thanks again, Jim

Question Anyone running the Level 10 torque converter?

I did a search and could not find anyone running the Level 10 torque converter. I read a post that said Level 10 claims a drop .8 in the quarter with it. Anyone have any experience with it? I'm thinking of buying the shift kit and the torque converter from Sal, but I'd like to hear experience from others before plunging into it. If .8 drop is real, then I'm surprised everyone hasn't jumped on this product.

I think the only one using a different TC is High Risk. If I remember right he said it didn't help much. I'm not sure if his is a level 10 or a different brand. I can believe a .5 gain in ET, but not much more than that.
