Wyldman,
You changed your tranny pan to the 4x4 pan with a drain plug? How many more quarts does the new pan hold? You know the part number?
I want to upgrade too!

Don't know about the Ford 4x4 pan but the B&M pan holds 3 quarts more, has a magnetic drain plug, and "that thing is heavy". I thought it was aluminum but its not. More like magnesium, or pot iron? Cool looking to.

B&M pan number is BMM-40290 165 plus 6 dollars handling from Summit--1-800-230-3030

You also use the stock filter as per the instructions..

Hey Guys!
Tell me what the material is that the pan is made from. I don't want no pot metal casting on my truck. Now if it is Magnesium it will be real light and if you want to double check it, pour some vinegar on it and watch the reaction. If it is a thick aluminum casting it will be heavy. Also what type of finish does it have natural or painted?

It is a thick aluminum naterial and has a brushed aluminum look. Cool looking but it did not solve the problem of boost dump when tranny temp goes up. helped but not 100%.

You need to tell me more about the boost dump. Yea I read all of the crap here but what I find to be very strange (at least in my case) is that I only get boost dump when I have had the Superchip in place. I will be testing the C&M chip on Saturday (same one that Sal uses) to see what that one does. I have been doing back to back runs (laps 19 of them) with full burn out in the water box and cannot get a boost dump without the chip. We should see warmer temperatures here on Saturday so that may prove interesting. I will also be running real drag slicks too.
