Truck is gone

My lease was up on the FX4 and my buyout was about $4500 more than current market value up here in the Cleveland area so it didn't make financial sense to keep it.

But I did stumble across something I always wanted, in the right color with the right options. so here it is....

It's a 17 GT convertible with the 401A package and the GT performance pack. It has the MT82 six speed manual, 15" brembo six piston front brakes, 3.73 gears with torson diff, and 255/40/19's on 19x9's Front and 275/40/19's on 19x9.5's Rear.

I'm glad I got when I did, the 2018's look hideous and the grabber blue color they brought back for 17 will be gone on the refresh in 18 so it's a 1 year only color on the S550's

Oh, and I already started on the mods. I ordered a ford racing short throw shifter, a sound tube delete kit, and a blue overlay for the running horse puddle lights.

I'll get another truck eventually, I always wanted another mustang and I jumped on this one when I found it. Back in 2012 when I got rid of the 07 I was driving a fusion, then a focus for about 20 months but I was still here, just not as often.

Oh, and it was 39 degrees today, but I still drove around with the top down. Besides, we have a saying up here, we don't turn off the A/C until the snow flies.

Nice looking Stang. I like the color. I don't think I have ever seen that color, so that will be nice to not be a color that everyone has. You now how to roll with the temps, lol. I will be out in the drive way washing in temps like that. People will drive by looking at me like I am nuts. If it is above freezing, I am washing.

Enjoy the new ride!

The color is called grabber blue, (paint code CI) it was on the S197 bodied stangs from 2010 up to 2014 but ford dropped it for 15 and 16. AFAIK no other ford vehicle got this color it's a mustang only exclusive. The focus RS gets a similar color called nitrous blue but it's a little darker.

Those new Mustangs are awesome! The bodies are so solid and quiet now. They feel like a quality car. My son bought a new 16 with PP. He immediately brought it to my house and used my garage to install a suspension kit since he wanted to lower it a bit and fix the wheel hop. Also changed the shifter.

Great job on the pickup (pun maybe intended?)! Loved your blue Flame color on the F-150 as well. Enjoy your new ride!!

I went out and got a few night pics to show the pony shaped puddle lights after I tinted them blue.

I purposely put my big foot in the pic to give some perspective on it's size. I would guess it's about 24-28 inches nose to tail.
