1997 expedition 4.6l prob
So was wondering if anyone is going threw the same problem as me, did an oil change on my expedition and 600 miles later oil is low, it does not leak oil nor it doesn't burn it, and if it comes to me replacing the engine can I swap it out from an 04-08 f150 or expedition from those years. Thanks in advance

I meant has it been serviced regularly and how has it been driven. I would definitely change the PCV with a Motorcraft. Others don't work so well on these engines. If the engine isn't leaking oil and oil is disappearing, it is burning the oil. These engines typically last much longer than 156k miles so the PCV is a strong suspect.
Does it smoke when you start it after sitting overnight? If so, that is an indication of bad valve seals or worn out valve guides.
