Front fender liner mod?

This is the first post I've done, and would like to say thanks to all that share their knowledge/experience. I've learned a ton about my 07 f150 from all of your posts!
Anyone know of a mod for the front fender liners? I hate how open it is, allowing dirt and water into the engine compartment. I thought I read something at one time, but I'm not having any luck searching the forums. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks

You could get pieces of rubber sheets to stuff under there granted they keep free from warping and the exhaust manifolds. Debris comes from under the engine bay as well.

I feel like they do pretty well unless you're really offroading the truck into mud puddles etc

I'd look at plastic. Guy on this forum many years ago used a standard black office trash can as donor plastic for making a shield for his air filter on his aftermarket intake. I bet you could cut a small piece off and make an extension down from your existing fender liners.

I feel like its most open around the top of the strut area, but like I said, mostly sealed off

Thanks for replies

My biggest issue has been the amount of dirt/dust, often water as well. I do drive on dirt roads from time to time, but no real"off roading". However, I recently had to clean leaves and other debris from around the spark plugs. Maybe I'll just have to live with it.

Take a picture. I have a piece heavy material that covers from the front edge of the bumper to just in front of the radiator. It deflects air from the bumper gap into the radiator and keeps debris out. Maybe it is missing?
