OEM or Aftermarket tow mirrors??
Ive been kicking around the idea of adding tow mirrors to my truck. I get online and see OEM's going for around $400 then see aftermarket going for less than $150. Is there really that big of a difference in the products? Anyone added the aftermarkets have any input? Is the quality any less than OEM?

I bought my aftermarket pair for $120. I've had them for going on 3 years now, out in the Vegas desert heat and no issues whatsoever. Great quality, and sturdy as s***! I've accidentally popped them on stupid ATM drive-thru poles and no scuffs or damage at all. They're very much up to par with the OEM standards. I love mine. Only thing I would've changed would've been buying them sooner! I'd absolutely recommend the aftermarket pair to anyone. Good luck with your decision!

I can't comment on the F150 aftermarket tow mirrors but where I work we have a Dodge with aftermarket tow mirrors. If you're going over 50mph you can't see anything out of them because they're shaking so much. It drives me crazy.
If I were to get tow mirrors, or even replacement mirrors, I'd get factory. IMO it's worth it.

I do agree though that buying factory parts is the best way to go overall though.
