Hello,


I have a 2009 F-150 Super Crew. The drivers side electric seat will only move back and tilt up - NOT forward. I would prefer not to take it to a dealership and try to fix it myself. From what I have read on here so far it could be the motor or the switch?


Any help/suggestions would be appreciated!

Just a suggestion -

Do your have the "easy out" feature that slides the seat all the way back automatically when you remove the key?

On mine - which I always have that feature turned on - will once in a while hiccup and not move the seat forward or back when the key is inserted or removed.

If you have that feature try turning it off if it was on, or on if it was off a couple times. Can't hurt to try and doesn't cost anything.
