Trade 2010 FX2 4.6 for 2005 F-350 6.0?

So I have someone who wants to trade me for my 2010 F-150. Fully loaded FX2 supercrew, 95xxx miles.... Here's what he wants to trade...

2005 Ford F-350 Lariat supercrew
- 6.0 liter turbo diesel
- 230k on body. Motor completely rebuilt 8k miles ago.
- Black Leather interior
- 2003 turbo(much louder then 2005 and is ball bearing as well)
- AFE Intake
- Fully Bulletproofed ( ARP studs, EGR delete, etc)
- 2015 front bumper, rear bumper(needs painted), and tailgate ( not installed), Tow mirrors, and tail lights
- Brand new headlights
- Electronic trailer brake assist
- 20 x12 XD wheels with a big lip ( like brand new)
- 2" wheel spacers
- Brand new Toyo Open Country AT tires PUT ON TODAY. 35/12.5/20.
- Bilstein nitrogen shocks
- 6" lift with leveling kit
- Superchips tuner (20/50/80hp tunes)
- AMP RESEARCH electric steps with LED lights
- Pioneer stereo
- Carbon fiber interior pieces instead of wood grain
- back up cam( not hooked up, but is installed)
- Atlas 80 FICM

I have never owned a diesel and was wondering if this is something I should do? I really want a diesel but not sure on this.

How would you use it? Do you need a diesel and are you prepared for the increased maintenance costs. Everything from oil changes to tires will be a lot more expensive.

It would just be a DD and when I get a boat later this year I'd tow it obviously.

Just wondering if it's worth it in the long run. Love my F-150 but I've always wanted to roll coal.

Not worth it. Even though the engine has been rebuilt, it's going to be expensive high maintenance.

You made the right decision. I was going to offer you three words of advice: Stop, No and Don't.
