Coolant leak question.

So we're a Ford family that just purchased a Ford Certified 2012 Ford F150 Supercrew V8 on November 5 and it has been in the dealership shop ever since. Mainly, because the dealership says they made repairs, but it turns out they didn't do anything.

The latest issue with our newer 2012 Ford F150 is a coolant leak that only shows up when the vehicle is parked on an incline. Our resident mechanic thinks is a heater valve, which when the hose kit with the heater valve is replace (3 hoses) this should resolve the issue. Anyone else have some suggestions as to what their experiences have been? Thank you in advance for the conservation.

Welcome to the forum, endkaos; let's see what I can do to help with the leak. How many miles are on your truck?

Thanks for following up, endkaos. Is your truck still at the dealership now? If so, send me a private message (PM) with your details; I'll escalate this to your regional customer service manager. When writing, please include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

Was this ever fixed ? The dealership replaced the reservoir tank hose only to have that not fix the problem that they were sure it was. Are there faulty replacement hoses or is the tank worn out and the hose does not seat properly ? Another fine Ford engineering production.
