One secret of getting paint to stick to things it normally WOULDN'T is to put a LIGHT coat (not a mist, but not even full coverage) on and let it dry good to the touch (and smell) (maybe 10 min., maybe 30 min.) before you put more on. Don't LOAD it wet, let it dry fairly well between coats. That eliminates the "sheeting" effect that contributes to peeling. It may work better with the Plastidip on plastic also.
