turn signals aint working???????

turn signals aint working???????

lost 4wd and everyone thinks its the gem.since then I lost turn signals,the hazards work but turn signals dont.whats the cause of this???does the gem have anything to do with the signals???

Don't blame the GEM on this one, that most likely was you shorting the instrument cluster lighting to the GEM input for the signal return from the 4WD mode selector switch. That is a resistance only input that you applied power to.

is the turn signal flasher where the blue relay is?theres only 2 relays,black one and blue one.on the right side of the steering colum.and if the flasher was bad the turn lights would show on the cluster but would be steady and not blink right?

Where are you getting this from ?

Did you read the thread I linked above ?
this covered a possible problem with the MFS, take it out and test it. Nothing about the flasher.

If the hazards work, but the turn signals do not, the flasher is fine.

I'm all new to this electric crap.if I hook a ohm up to it what should the readings be?

The resistance should be zero, or close to it ( depending on when the last time you replaced the battery in your meter ), when the results are a closed circuit.

Big thing is looking for something that should be a closed circuit, and your meter show infinity.

when checkin it when its out,may sound dumb but where do the red and black prongs go?

I also am having problems with my turn signals,I drive a f150xl.every now and then the turn signals quit.also the e-flashers quit working,i replaced the relay under the dash,now only the right side e-flasher works.and still no turn signals.now im a very patient guy,but this has me pullin the last hair i have out.please help.aaaagggghhhh

i have a 1979 f 150 wolfpack tuck my turn signals are not working it has the 1 big silver fuse and the turn signal master switch is making a conection i am compleatly lost some one help ---e-mail me some ideas sparky.edwards21@yahoo.com

sorry but you are wrong on your info... the hazards and the turn signals are on different flashers as a safety precaution so having one work doesn't mean the flasher isn't the problem

2006 EVTM 90-1 ( 2005-2008 MY )


1998 EVTM 90-1 ( 1997-1998 MY )


2001 EVTM 90-1 ( 2000-2003 MY )


Flasher & Blower motor relay base ( only one spot for the flasher )
