Sunroof Broke

I have a sunroof that has a broke cable on one side. Has anyone had a sunroof out? If so how hard was it to get it out?

Im sure they are all the same. I worked on one in Land Rover and a couple on Hyundai's. Its simple just very time consuming. You need to remove all the accessories on top them remove the headliner. Then just unplug the sunroof motor and unbolt it all around. It'll come out as one large unit then you could replace the cable out of the car. Make sure both cables are set correctly and working properly before you bolt it back in the car.

Thanks, I thought that it would be very time consuming and dread to pull the headliner down.

Where did you purchase your replacement sunroof cable? My 2002 F150 had one break recently, and I'd like to replace just the cable. Thanks!
