Thumbs up Hotchkis Lightning

This is my truck with the Hotchkis springs & leafs. The ride is smoother than stock and so far has not hampered me at the drag strip either. Best 60' on F-1's before ...1.884.
Best 60' on F-1's after ... 1.885.
Next on the list is the '01 Bilstein's and the Hotchkis sway bars when they come out.

Later peeps,

RobG

P.S. It's a 1" drop in front and 2" drop in the back.

Why get bigger sway bars? They weigh more, and the stock on is 76mm thick? I can't remeber how big it is stock, but they are monsterous.

Cool

Very nice looking truck. Don't you just love black when it's clean?

The Hotchkis sway bars should aid handling a bit more than the stockers can. Besides, Thicker IS Better !!!

It's a Cervinis.
The fit and finish are pretty darn good.
In my opinion, Cervini's makes the best fiberglass hoods around.

The Hotchkis sway bars are bigger but hollow and lighter.

On the Cervini hood, did it come ready to put on or did you have it painted to match? It looks sweet. Also, are those the factory rims? Another lightning owner here told me about chroming the factory wheels. I wasnt sure about how they would turn out. thanks

The hood is shipped with a gel coat finish ( flat white). You have to get it painted. The wheels are from Ford Racing, which means factory wheels that are plated by Ford. Excellent quality.

Rob,
Sweet looking truck. Ride height is just what I am looking for. Any problems with bottoming?
