Talking Speed Sensitive Volume

By pressing, and holding for five seconds, the volume control button until SPEED VOLUME # is displayed, and pushing the Select button located to the upper right of the unit, the Speed Sensitive Volume can be turned on or off, and adjusted higher and lower to your listening preference. I found this in an old post

see https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...lume+lightning

It works way cool

I never knew that it was adjustable. Mine was set on "0" from the factory.

Thanks,

Wayne

I locked myself out of the house one day and stumbled onto this waiting for the g/f to get home from work. Works way cool even though the stock radio is garbage.

Well, I was using the heck out of this feature, but today I installed Pioneer 6865's (I think thats the model) in the doors, and it sounds bad with speed volume turned on. So, back to using the radio ****.
