Post Update: 2 guage full pillars nearing completion more inside.

Here is the response from Lyle Simons at Lo-Tek:

Harvey,

Our Lightning two gauge pillar is nearing completion. The tooling is
complete! This application will be running on our next production schedule
on or around 8/22. We will be updating our website at that time so the
item can be ordered directly. A triple pillar would be fairly easy to
tool-up for if there is enough interest.

Regards,

Lyle Simons

Let's go for the 3-gauge pod. How many does he need for "enough interest".

Before, the number for the dual gauge pillars was around 20. Should be the same. I will e-mail them and ask.

With these there is no longer a o-shlt bar. It is a full pillar replacement, a one piece deal.

How much dough for the 3 pod?

Could they do a larger bottom pod, for a bigger boost gage or the like?

If possible, this is what I would like:
Bottom Pod: 2 5/8
Middle Pillar: 2 1/16
Top Pillar: 2 1/16

Steven

i'm getting in kind of late on this concept but I have seen some at the strip and I really like them. What gages would look similar to our own. What different functions are available. I know a lot of people want boost but thats a who cares to me. I would like a water temp gage for the intercooler fluid and a real water temp gage for the engine. and an amp gage would be nice. Volt gages never showed me anything. We probably need to expand this and put it on the FAQ.

After looking at all the past gauge posts, it appears that it would be more desirable to have a pod that accepts the 2 5/8 gauges rather than the 2 1/16 as the consesus is that the bigger gauges are easier to read, especially for us older guys. What size gauges does the double being made above accept? and what size would a triple accept? I think I would like a triple if it is available for 2 5/8 gauges.

Currently they are making the 2 pod, with enough interest (10 people) they will make the 3 pod. On their website they state that normal sizes are the 2 1/6. But it has a not that says 2 5/8 can be made more than likely with again, with enough interest. As far as the closest match to our gauges I would say autometer lunar series all the way. They are white faced, and glow green. Just like our gauges. I will e-mail them and see if individual sizes can be made. again I shall keep you informed.

Fine, lets vote. I'm in for a 3 pod that is made for 2 5/8 gauges. How much, where do I send my money.

I would be in for the 2 1/16 for the three pod I guess. I already have 2 of the 2 1/16, but could add a third.
Any price on the 2 pod or the 3?

Thanks
