Assjet 248 confirms claims!
installed Johnny'L's "ram-air" kit this weekend, and immediately "felt something". not as much as a chip, but more than the air box swap. since this group wants scientific data, i decided to get the "jet" calibrated, and made an appointment with Dr Pokemon, my Jamacian proctologist. after a thorough exam, i was ready for testing. i noticed at highway speeds, the truck breathed much easier and boost came on much quicker. since this cannot be dyno tested, and 1/4 mile times vary so much because of the variables, i was going to use various G-tech modes to check it, butt most here frown upon this device, so i went with a freshly calibrated Assjet 248 (Dr certified). as an addition to the Johnny-L kit, i was also looking at the Go-rila Multi-Tool, as a critter extraction device, should an armadillo or similar shaped varmit cross the path of the "low riding" Johnny-L air funnel.

I prefer the Assjet as opposed to the outdated and much maligned Assometer. Both are improvements over the highly overated G-Tech Pro (and more accurate as well). Does the Assjet 248 have the downloadable memory? If so, could you show us your data?

About 2bills for the system if you have a psp or big mouth filter with open end. took me about 2 hrs getting everything just right, i must be **** or somethin.
Go_rila, what is the max suction on that multi-tool in psi vacuum? can i get a lodged varmit out, at say, a 60mph "snort".
i am "assuming" that since Dr Pokemon certified this calibration, that it has the AMA stamp of approval, butt one thing bothers me, during the calibration, i heard applause, from what i thought to be student admirers, only to find out we were still alone

Stupid me:
AssJet, I can understand, as I often use that factor to judge the mods to my own Lightning. It is generally more accurate than the seat of the pants method.
However, I cannot figure out the significance of the numbers 248.
Chuck, help me out on this one.

Armadillos at 60mph are a formidable task when sucked into an orifice like the "Johnny Lightning" ram-air unit. Might I suggest an optional attachment to the "Go_rila Multi-purpose Tool"? It is the armadillo auger bit which comes in bright nickel plating. Much like an oversized corkscrew, the armadillo auger is great for removing small to medium sized rodents and other critters from hard to reach places. Shoot, I've actually seen this auger dislodge an armadillo from it's shell before.
