Thumbs up Project White!!!!

About 3 weeks ago I began a project of white svt wheels to give my truck a white out effect.Well the wheels are done and they decided to pose for a few pics before being mounted.I must thank my friend RobG for letting me use his old rims for this.He also dropped the wheels off to have them powdercoated, and the center caps to be painted.I wont post any pics of the wheels on the truck until rob gets to see it.
Cost of project:
Stripped the old finish off: 325$
Center caps painted:80$
Powdercoated & Clearcoat:160$
Mounted and Balanced????
I will try and get them mounted today. For now here is a little teaser.I think itll look NICE!

Nice rims, the only problem I see with them is keeping the freaking brake dust off them.

Wink

You are da man! those look great.Im glad somebody in here has the nuts to be completly different.I was close to doing them white but I just couldnt get myself to do it.I cant wait to see them on the truck,Post soon!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW I MEAN NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!! White looks the most plain with original grey wheels .The wheels have to have something done. This is perfect.Red looks good stock, black looks good stock but the white is just a tad to blah for me stock.Yes I do own a white one and I would not own any other color but it it true> I chose chrome again but I love your choice. Its gonna look like a special factory race lightning or something!!Like a saleen. This will lead you to many questions.when people ask,you can BS the idiot ones with stupid remarks like ,"Its a Lightning R,They only made 300".How about this one" My truck is a prototype for 2001 models" It runs 12.5s stock!" Just be sure to tell the truth to the real enthusiast but have some fun with the idiots!!! We all know what kind I am talking about.

HAPPY CLEANING LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Badbolt,
It was 160 for all 4.What a deal! The guy clearcoated them to boot!Ill post pics later tonite.I had the wheels mounted an hour or so ago.Cost me 80$ for mounting and balancing. To help keep the brake dust from accumulating i waxed the wheels and will make a habit of cleaning them as much as possible.
