Cool 2" Drop

In today. Looks better. Rides about the same. Handles better. I recommmend it.
Nice upgrade for only $48.00 from AIM.
Reminds me more of the 93's ride and attitude.

Twisted99,

Where can I contact AIM? did you lower front and back 2"? Did you have to realign the front end afterwards?

Cool

I`ll snap a few tomorrow. It took a couple hours with all the jacking I had to do. My small floor jack needs seals and I used the one in the truck. Put it up on jack stands and jacked each side of the axle up. I was worried there for a minute when it appeared the two upper shackle bolts were installed against the frame. However, when the bottom bolt is out the leaf moves up and the bolt can be pulled over the frame rail.
I had to press the bushing in and the guide pipe with my trusty vice a few squirts of WD-40 helped. I`ll tighten them up a few hundred miles and maybe a bit later on.

Wyldman,
www.truckn.com

No, I just droppped the rear. Truck sits level. The drop shackels lowered 2" and now it appears level. The front perches on the leaf springs can be chiesled out,the rivets that is and drop perches can be installed for a 4" drop. They are about 50 bucks. Coils could br installed up front ..I think I would just go an inch or maybe 1 1/2"
up front. I might just leave it as is.
It looks a hell of a lot better.

Hey Twisted:
Did your's come with 2 holes, 1.5 and 2 inch drop? Mine did. I think someone else got a set and it just had the 2 inch spot, but I'm not sure on that.
Looks alot better don't it

I installed a set of rear shackles on mine from Sport Truck Direct, cost me $39. It has the urethane bushings and 2 settings. I installed mine at the first setting(1 1/2"). Looks level but the rear is 3/4" higher than front, may go ahead and lower it the extra 1/2". Thier number is 1-800-876-6226. they look great for the price, unbeatable!!

Cool

Changing the rear shackles is a piece of cake; however...If you want a real challenge, then try to tackle the front hangers. They are riveted in place, and they use HARD rivets. Even after the heads are off, you have to deal with the rest of the rivet, which is squeezed into the hole. Royal PITA. If I had it to do over, I wouldn't do the front hangers. BTW, I did this on a friends Ram, not my L, but the setup is identical.
